Care Revolutions (YC S16) Has an Opening for a Back-End Engineer in Los Angeles

We are looking for a senior level engineer whose worked a lot on back-ends and apis. Five or more years experience. Ruby and Rails will be the core of your work at first, however, we are exploring the use of Elixir and other technologies for some components of our system. The idea is we build rapidly with RoR and iterate on it until it stabilizes, and is valuable, then we migrate it to a technology that is a bit more performant. Lots of hands on experience with a RDBMS required. We use PostgreSQL but if you have experience with MySQL, Oracle, or similar that'll do the trick.

You will work to build Care Revolutions api and core systems. These systems empower our web clients, tooling, iOS apps, and Android apps. As time goes along we expect to also provide rich apis for our partners to report and automate against.

Care Revolutions is a marketplace connecting health care professionals to shifts available at surgery centers, hospitals, and other care providing services. We build our technology to enable efficiency, transparency, trust, and simplicity in the marketplace.
