DocTalk is on a mission to improve chronic health management in India. We’re working hard to revolutionize patient care while improving doctors’ lives. We've been improving medical outcomes and changing how people take care of their health in India. Our product works across platforms and we’re looking for engineers with deep understanding and experience with all parts of the stack to join our team.
What are some examples of problems a software engineer will solve? DocTalk engineers work together and rotate focus between mobile, database, API, frontend and devops. We value professionals who are open to learning new things. As a DocTalk engineer you might work on any of the following problems: • Build and maintain a codebase downloaded more than 50000 times • Write cloud functions • Integrate 3rd party services and data pipelines to drive underwriting decisions • Triage bugs and exceptions reported in production • Measure and optimize API performance • Conduct system load / stress tests
Relevant Experience • React, React Native, Redux, Typescript, Node.js • Functional programming (in Typescript, Swift and Kotlin) • AWS Lambda / Google Cloud Functions • Memory management and performance tuning • Modern languages for mobile development (Kotlin, Swift) • Reactive extensions (RxJava, RxSwift) • Unit tests, instrumental tests (like JUnit, Espresso, Mockito, Nimble) • MVVM and MVI architectural patterns
