BUMP (YC W18) Is Hiring a Director of Engineering and Senior Android Engineer

BUMP is the only peer-to-peer marketplace dedicated to streetwear (clothing, accessories & sneakers from brands such as Supreme, Palace, Nike).

Sam and myself built BUMP so we could find, buy and sell our own streetwear more easily. We’re only on iOS right now and have grown from $0 to $700K monthly GMV in the past few months. We just raised $2M from Kleiner Perkins amongst other top investors and are starting to melt under the demand since it’s just the 2 of us in the company.

I’m a self-taught engineer and built the whole thing myself but now we need someone that can rebuild things so we can take BUMP to the next level - this is perfect for someone that’s excited to build up an entire engineering team from square one. We’re looking for someone that has 4+ years of professional software engineering experience that includes shipping an Objective-C app and back-end experience. 


In the next few months, we’d also like to add several great engineers to the team so we can build an Android version and keep up with user growth.
