About: At Zendar, we are working on a high-resolution imaging RADAR system that allows self driving cars to see through fog, rain and snow. We are a team of software engineers, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers and researchers pushing the boundaries of what a radar can see.

Job Description: We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Berkeley, CA. You will be responsible for designing, testing, and bringing up Zendar’s radar acquisition hardware. You will join a small interdisciplinary team of domain experts designing next-generation imaging radar. In this position, you will have significant design and test ownership over our radar acquisition hardware, including power generation, RF/mm-wave signaling, and high-speed interfaces. Previous mixed-signal, mid-speed board design experience is a must.

Required Qualifications: MS in Electrical Engineering or BS with 2-3 years experience. Previous experience designing and bringing up mixed-signal PCBs. Proven ability to work independently on designing sophisticated electronics systems. One or more of the following: Experience with low-GHz speed analog and digital interfaces. Hardware/software experience with embedded microcontrollers Experience with PMIC/DC-DC converters/LDOs.

Desired Qualifications: Familiarity with FPGA and RTL. Experience with RF and mm-wave board design. Experience using Altium Designer. C/C++ coding experience. Experience with electromagnetic and/or SPICE simulations.
