Our World in Data (YC W19 Nonprofit) Is Hiring a Front End Developer, Oxford UK

Hi HN,

We're Our World in Data (https://OurWorldInData.org), a nonprofit in the YC W19 batch. We launched on HN a few weeks ago, and it was great to see so many people interested in the work that we do (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=19247821).

We're looking for a JavaScript engineer with good frontend skills to join our team of programmers and researchers at the University of Oxford. It's a really generalist position with a lot of room to influence the direction of our work.

Our mission is to make research about important global issues accessible and get it to the people who need it to shape change. The United Nations and governments around the world use our work to help tackle problems like poverty, inequality, and preventable disease. A million people visit OurWorldinData.org each month, mainly though organic search traffic.

Here is the job listing on the University of Oxford website, where people can apply: https://bit.ly/2J6dwCb.

If you, or anyone you know is interested in doing high-impact, non-profit, open-source work in Europe, we'd love to hear from you!
